Fishing Report for Wednesday, March 9, 2016:
The weather forecast was for chilly rain and then more rain and some wind, but that didn’t deter Chris Carey, at Striper Express and his client, Paul Bandiera from Dallas TX. Despite the cloudy overcast day, the stripers at Lake Texoma woke up hungry and Chris and the clients got into fish quickly on swimbaits. The morning continued to yield many fish plus 4 striped bass that weighed in excess of 10 pounds. This is a good day in the rain for sure! Fishing slowed a bit for an hour or so and then Paul hooked up with this monster Striper and the battle began. After several line peeling, reel screaming runs the giant, Lake Texoma striper came to the net reluctantly.
